This is a beautiful, clear, amber-coloured brew with a rich bready-malt nose with a complex maltiness on the palate reminiscent of toasted nuts with a slight dark-fruit character. A supporting bitterness is present that allows the malty-deliciousness to last well into the finish.
Based on a classic Dunkles Bock, following traditional double decoction and spunding techniques with a 6-week lagering phase.
