Illbury Berry Sour with Gin Botanicals
The brew pours a beautiful reddish pink colour. There is a big hit of berries on the nose. On the palate, the berries dominate and there is an underlying herbaciousness from the gin botanicals. The botanicals also add a tannic complexity to the beer along with the sourness from the souring process. The beer finishes slightly sweet and leaves a fruity aftertaste.
