Horizon Hopped Weizen and Impasto Europils
The Horizon Hopped Weizen is a dry-hopped wheat beer(weizen). The hops used are two Australian varieties : Vic Secret and Galaxy
The beer pours a deep gold colour and is hazy to the point of opacity. Aromas of pineapple, unripe guava and banana dominate the nose. There is a slight white pepper note in the background from the weizen yeast. On the palate the beer has some notes of bread but mostly the juicy hop flavours dominate along with a little bitterness. The beer finishes with a strong banana and clove flavour.
