This special edition stout is made with loads of premium ingredients. It is a thick, highly flavourful beer made using custom roasted Kenyan coffee beans from 'Morning Roast' in Etobicoke, and cocoa. The beer contains lactose.
Tasting Notes: The beer pours almost opaque black with a tan head that dissipates quickly due to the presence of cocoa). Big whiff of a medium roast coffee on the nose followed by a dark chocolate note that combines into a nice mocha tone. On the palate there is a chocolatey note with a slight dark fruitiness.
The beer finishes sweet with a slight roasty note.
Food Pairings : Krampus would work great as an after dinner sipper or paired with fruity desserts, adding a dark chocolate and coffee layer to something like a raspberry cheesecake.
