A deep copper coloured brew with a nose of dried fruit, raisin and light toasted bread (think oatmeal raisin cookies!). The dried fruit, raisin, prune-like flavours are prevalent on the palate with a stiff bitterness balancing out the residual sweetness. Beer ends with lingering notes of caramel, slight chocolate and raisins. The beer is prominent in Dusseldorf.
